00:01:48 ◼   ► as Syracuse's had a big long rant about it but basically it's no it's no fair [TS]

00:01:52 ◼   ► just say screen time because it you know if the kids reading a book on an iPad [TS]

00:01:57 ◼   ► realize that count his screen time I mean it's like yes things that you might [TS]

00:02:01 ◼   ► want to limit like watching TV and YouTube and movies and playing video [TS]

00:02:08 ◼   ► I don't think this is is Hank aware of that there are such things as video [TS]

00:02:15 ◼   ► Jonas has discovered them and he seen me play them [TS]

00:02:18 ◼   ► I know that much i I don't know it is interesting no Amy and I I you know we [TS]

00:02:24 ◼   ► don't really have like a hard and fast rule about it and I think if anything we [TS]

00:02:29 ◼   ► are probably a little too lacks about yeah yeah we're probably we're probably [TS]

00:02:34 ◼   ► much the same Jonas's of the personality that it you know he's very sociable he [TS]

00:02:41 ◼   ► is but he would happily spend his entire summer and doing nothing but playing [TS]

00:02:55 ◼   ► you know would do the same and we usually when our thanks it's not so much [TS]

00:02:58 ◼   ► screen time as it is like non screen time and there's a minimum right like [TS]

00:03:04 ◼   ► you've got to figure out something to do that doesn't involve looking at the [TS]

00:03:07 ◼   ► screen right right and so you know he doesn't know he plays chess we play [TS]

00:03:11 ◼   ► chess with him he likes to cook [TS]

00:03:13 ◼   ► we often have them in the kitchen to make dinner and lunch and stuff like [TS]

00:03:16 ◼   ► that and so we do things like that but I mean yeah but like you said like a lot [TS]

00:03:21 ◼   ► of the stuff he plays on it on his iPad or his iphone is like he'll play chess [TS]

00:03:26 ◼   ► or his playing Words With Friends with family members and that stuff doesn't [TS]

00:03:31 ◼   ► seem bad right [TS]

00:03:34 ◼   ► I mean it's certainly no you know it's certainly way better than playing you [TS]

00:03:38 ◼   ► know I can't even think I only place that he likes to still likes to play [TS]

00:03:41 ◼   ► flappy bird and andy and you know he's much better at it than I am so you know [TS]

00:03:47 ◼   ► he's developed he's developed serious flappy bird skills so that's good [TS]

00:03:50 ◼   ► that'll sure that will work out well for him later in life [TS]

00:03:54 ◼   ► one of the things that Amy and I struggle with and it is [TS]

00:03:59 ◼   ► it is different from when you and I were kids because I would have had died while [TS]

00:04:04 ◼   ► i like playing sports and Jonas doesn't so I would go out to play actual sports [TS]

00:04:08 ◼   ► on and we had a community pool and in the small town where I grew up [TS]

00:04:15 ◼   ► that was where everybody hung out and so we don't you know in the summer with [TS]

00:04:19 ◼   ► every i would go to the pool every day just go to the pool [TS]

00:04:23 ◼   ► Jonas doesn't really have anything like that here but the other thing that is [TS]

00:04:26 ◼   ► different is that sometimes not all the time but not even most of the time but [TS]

00:04:30 ◼   ► sometimes the games are actually sociable where his friends will you know [TS]

00:04:35 ◼   ► text each other and say let's all play whatever and they everybody you know [TS]

00:04:41 ◼   ► it's it seems like a very happy coincidence i mean maybe there's one for [TS]

00:04:45 ◼   ► kidney is gangs got an xbox instead of a Playstation and I just don't know about [TS]

00:04:49 ◼   ► it and he's like excluded but they all have playstation fours which I really [TS]

00:04:55 ◼   ► don't remember when we got it that it was coordinated with his friends it [TS]

00:04:58 ◼   ► seems like a happy coincidence but anyway they're all on these headsets in [TS]

00:05:01 ◼   ► there yelling at each other and it's a lot like you know like having them over [TS]

00:05:05 ◼   ► to the house you know the kids are in house except right the other people [TS]

00:05:09 ◼   ► stinky kids aren't in my house so it's actually kind of great [TS]

00:07:30 ◼   ► and in that they we were having dessert I think and we didn't we were out of [TS]

00:07:33 ◼   ► like whipped cream and he loves to have like whipped cream on his ice cream so [TS]

00:07:40 ◼   ► the convenience store and get in which is like four blocks from here [TS]

00:07:43 ◼   ► don't you walk to the convenience store and go get something so the two of them [TS]

00:07:47 ◼   ► just think we gave them like five bucks they walked out Doran and then you know [TS]

00:07:50 ◼   ► they walked every morning and came back and and that's the canyon [TS]

00:07:54 ◼   ► it's just find particularly now milady de winter stupidly when there's two of [TS]

00:08:36 ◼   ► he had sat down with Karen to sign it and like put in the envelope put a stamp [TS]

00:08:40 ◼   ► on a dress and so they did that and then Karen kind of like turned her back and [TS]

00:08:46 ◼   ► and intensely and then like minutes later support like worse or tank where [TS]

00:08:52 ◼   ► the heck is Hank and we notice the front doors open and he just like grabbed the [TS]

00:08:57 ◼   ► thing he knew where the mailboxes like three blocks away [TS]

00:09:00 ◼   ► he said he was booked into the mailbox he was gonna mail that letter so that [TS]

00:09:30 ◼   ► parents that we are we freaked out and chased after him like tackle them like a [TS]

00:09:41 ◼   ► idiots instead of like running up and saying okay let's go [TS]

00:09:48 ◼   ► we didn't realize what he was doing all we knew was that he was just like often [TS]

00:09:52 ◼   ► running and then later I think we're like he was going to the mailbox and the [TS]
